RAGAZZI!!!!!!! *_____*
Dopo una luuuunga pausa dai contest (in realtà è durata solo qualche mese, ma a me è sembrata una vita XD), torno finalmente con una nuova iniziativa a cui, lo so già, non si iscriverà nessuno, ma pazienza AHAHAHAH corro il rischio!
Allooora, sicuramente la maggior parte di voi si starà domandando chi sono quei cinque bei giovani nella foto in alto… ebbene, vi presento i Nothing But Thieves, attualmente tra le mie band preferite, più amate e venerate! Ho pensato di aprire un contest interamente dedicato a loro e alla loro musica dal momento che il 23 ottobre è uscito il loro terzo album, “Moral Panic”… non li ringrazierò mai abbastanza per essere l’unica cosa bella di questo 2020 *w*
E ho deciso di pubblicare il bando proprio oggi perché, se tutto va bene e il covid si leva di torno in tempi decenti, esattamente tra un anno i NBT terranno un concerto a Milano a cui OVVIAMENTE parteciperò :3
Ma bando alle ciance, cosa vi chiedo di scrivere per questo contest?
In realtà ci sono due possibilità:
- Scrivere una fanfic sui Nothing But Thieves, in cui quindi loro saranno i protagonisti;
- Scrivere una storia originale basata su un loro brano o su ALMENO DUE delle citazioni che troverete più avanti in elenco.
Ebbene sì, dovete sapere che io AMO profondamente ogni singolo testo di ogni singola canzone dei NBT, perché riescono sempre a evocare sensazioni e immagini fortissime, almeno a mio parere. Perciò mi sono messa al lavoro e ho selezionato una (luuunga) serie di citazioni da cui potrete prendere spunto – nel caso delle originali, l’uso di ALMENO DUE citazioni sarà OBBLIGATORIO, mentre per le fanfiction sarà facoltativo.
Aggiungo giustamente qualche altra precisazione:
- Il mio intento con questo contest è leggere più ff sui Nothing But Thieves possibili e, in questo modo, (ri)popolare anche il loro fandom; per questo ho deciso di premiare chi sceglierà questa tipologia di storia assegnando +2 PUNTI BONUS.
- Ricordo che NON È NECESSARIO conoscere i Nothing But Thieves o le loro canzoni per partecipare al contest: basterà scegliere due citazioni dalla lista e basare la propria storia su quelle. Però NESSUNO VI VIETA di scrivere una song-fic su un loro brano, motivo per cui ho lasciato tutti i link delle canzoni in modo che le possiate ascoltare – e sì, nel caso ve lo steste chiedendo: l’altro intento di questo contest è far conoscere la musica dei NBT a più persone possibili *___*
- Ho già chiarito in precedenza che, per chi scriverà un’originale, è obbligatorio scegliere ALMENO DUE citazioni in elenco. Ma qual è il massimo di citazioni/canzoni che si possono utilizzare?
Non esiste un massimo, per quanto mi riguarda potete utilizzarle anche tutte XD
- Nel caso di fanfiction, è permesso inserire un OC, anche come co-protagonista; l’importante è che almeno un componente della band abbia un ruolo principale e fondamentale nella storia!
- Le citazioni non sono esclusive, quindi ognuna può essere utilizzata da un numero illimitato di persone.
- Le due citazioni, nel caso delle originali, possono essere prese entrambe dalla stessa canzone oppure da due brani differenti! Nel caso di una song-fic (in cui quindi si utilizzano anche più di due citazioni, in alcuni casi), valuterò l'utilizzo di tutte le citazioni tratte da quella canzone.

Le canzoni sono davvero tantissime, così come le frasi. Ho fissato la scadenza del contest tra un bel po’ (lasciandovi quasi tutti i quattro mesi) per dare il tempo a quei coraggiosi che ne avranno voglia di ascoltare tutti i brani, ma ovviamente non è tassativo: potete aprire solo quelli che vi ispirano di più o potete non aprirne neanche uno XD
Tuttavia, siccome le canzoni dei Nothing But Thieves sono molto diverse tra loro, per aiutarvi a orientarvi meglio propongo ancora un’altra opzione: se mi comunicate che tipo di brani/generi musicali vi piacciono di più, posso indicarvi i titoli che potrebbero fare più al caso vostro, in modo che la canzone scelta possa anche rispecchiare i vostri gusti ^^

Il bassista, col suo modo di fare rassicurante e pacato, è in grado di far sentire al sicuro chiunque gli stia accanto. Senza le sue linee di basso, avvolgenti e totalizzanti, le canzoni dei Nothing But Thieves perderebbero la loro magia e il loro significato.
Vincerà questo premio la storia in grado di coinvolgermi di più, in cui mi immedesimerò a tal punto da dimenticare ciò che mi circonda durante la lettura.

Mai sottovalutare il nostro batterista e il suo lavoro: oltre a essere un amico preziosissimo, è anche il motivo per cui i brani della band stanno in piedi e risultano così energici. Senza il suo stile preciso e avvolgente, la musica dei NBT non avrebbe uno scheletro.
Vincerà questo premio la storia meglio progettata, dalla miglior trama.
